Our unique ‘Mindfulness Wellbeing’ course will teach you a range of relaxation skills to help you cope with today’s 24/7 lifestyle. The course is varied and includes deep relaxation exercises as well as skills and techniques that can be used in everyday situations, allowing you to remain relaxed and calm if you find yourself in a situation where you are unable to take specific ‘time out’ to relax. Taught over 6 weeks, the course aims to improve self awareness and ability to self-soothe, reduce stress and anxiety and increase levels of happiness and resilience. As a course participant you will be part of a small group that meets once a week in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Your course tutor will take you through various relaxation and mindfulness exercises each week as well as providing time for discussion and exploration of each topic covered. You’ll also be encouraged to undertake some exercises at home to acement your new learning and enhance its positive benefits.

For all Mindfulness Wellbeing Courses you're advised to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Yoga mats will be provided, but you may also wish to bring a cushion and a blanket.

Indian Head Massage

This is an ancient treatment originally practiced by the women of the family to improve the health of the scalp and enhance condition, lustre and shine of the hair. Nowadays, it is well known that this type of massage is extremely relaxing and soothing, calming the mind and aiding restful sleep. It reduces tension in the neck and shoulders and is great for treating headaches and migraine. As with any massage, Indian Head Massage will also stimulate blood flow and promote removal of toxins from the body.

The treatment involves massage of the upper back, upper arms, shoulders, neck, scalp and facial area and massage oil is generally used. A variety of techniques and pressures are used to relieve tension and generate a feeling of calm and wellbeing. A wonderful treatment if you are feeling stressed or run down!


Reflexology is a complimentary therapy that is based on the theory that different reflex points found on the feet correspond with different areas of the body. Manipulation of these reflex points can release tension and promote healing in the corresponding part of the body.  During your reflexology treatment, your therapist will use their hands to massage and apply pressure to each of the reflex points of the feet.  A range of different reflexology balms are available for you to choose from and your therapist will tailor your treatment to meet your individual needs.
During the treatment you may find that you experience sensitivity during manipulation of some reflex points, but overall reflexology is very relaxing and calming.  Commonly after treatment, clients report feeling an overall sense of peace and wellbeing.  Reflexology has many benefits including reducing stress and tension, improving circulation, helping with depression, improving sleep and it can also relieve pain and severity of symptoms in range of different conditions such as arthritis and migraines.

Thermo-Auricular Therapy (Hopi Ear Candles)

This is an ancient, non-invasive complimentary therapy known to provide relief from conditions of the ear, nose and throat, such as sinusitis, glue ear and excessive catarrh or wax. The treatment can also help with headaches and migraine as well as calming the mind and promoting clearer thinking. It is an extremely relaxing and soothing treatment and is therefore also excellent for stress reduction.

The treatment involves gently placing a hollow, tube-shaped candle made of cotton soaked in beeswax and honey into the ear canal to facilitate the removal of excess wax and impurities via the vacuum effect that results from lighting the end of the candle. To enhance the therapeutic effect, candles infused with essential oils such as lavender or eucalyptus are also available. At the end of the treatment, a short lymph-drainage massage is provided to promote further removal of impurities via the body’s lymphatic system.
