Growing up in Zimbabwe, Sarah adopted an active, sporty lifestyle from a very young age. She qualified as a Personal Trainer after studying Fashion and design in college.
Sarah has been developing her skills and growing within the exercise industry, paving her way through various subjects for over a decade. She spends most of her time studying and learning to remain up to date with research, new styles and techniques to constantly offer her clients that she works with.
Sarah decided to gain her Yoga Teaching qualification in Nepal, under the direct guidance of Swami Satyananda Vishnuswaroop. A proud and surreal experience, which has distinguished and highlighted her traditional style of teaching true and unmodified yoga, honouring it's heritage and value.
Sarah also teaches Pilates matwork and equipment, Piyo, Animal Flow, Spinning and Kettlebells. She is also a qualified LTA tennis coach, a nutritionist and an exercise referral intructor, specialising in lower back care and pain managment.
Sarah's interest lie within the biomechanics of the body and she incorporates a lot of bodyweight training into her coaching skills. Sarah strongly believes that the importance of our mind and body connection working harmoniously will improve our physical and mental wellbeing. Re-education of movements and manner will ensure individuals improve balance, posture and stability, in return minimising the risk of injury and maximising the potential of strength and functionality.
Sarah is also a keen runner and thrives on mobility and never takes for granted each step she takes. She feels if she can assist individuals to rehabilitate their mind and body to feel strong and powerful, she has found her purpose!
