PILATES INDUCTION CLASS

Are you Looking to start Pilates with us?
Not sure what Pilates is about?

We require all new clients to take an induction before joining a class.
The session will introduce you to the positions and principals of Pilates that are essential before joining a class.
It will also give the instructor a chance to meet with you and assess if you will need any modifications, this way we can ensure you get the best from your classes.

As we have so many new classes starting we are running a small group induction. This is a one off session that should be attended before joining a class.

This session will also include introduction to the Pilates Reformer.

PELVIC FLOOR COURSE

Have you ever laughed so hard or had other whoops moments (sneezing, trampolining, coughing - you know what we mean!) that you've had to worry about your bladder control? This is more common than you think and afflicts 1 in 3 ladies and it isn't just linked to child birth. It can affect men as well as women.

This 6 week course will help you gain back control of your pelvic floor and help you feel more in control of your body. Also you will receive a welcome pack which includes a resistance band and a ball to help you practice the exercises at home.

FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE
SUNDAY 4TH NOVEMBER 2018.  9AM - 3PM


1 day emergency First Aid at work course, covering all aspect of first aid in the workplace.
This certificate is valid for 3 years.
Your trainer Mary Matson is a highly qualified first aid trainer and assesor and makes learning CPR friendly and accessable to all attendees.

For all classes you're advised to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing. Yoga mats will be provided, but you may also wish to bring a cushion and a blanket.

NEW! 
INTRODUCTORY MINDFULNESS COURSE FOR PREGNANCY
Pregnancy is a hugely joyous and exciting time, but it can also sometimes be a little stressful with so much to plan and organise and so much change ahead! If you'd like to learn a little more about how mindfulness and meditation could help you bring some calm and tranquillity back to this busy and exciting time then this is the course for you! On the course we will cover:
*What is stress?
*The importance of the breath and different breathing techniques.
*Creative visualisation.
*The power of positive thoughts.
*Engaging the senses.
*...as well as a number of different meditation and relaxation exercises for you to try!

Suitable for all stages of pregnancy and taught over two consecutive weeks, the course will allow you to learn about and try a number of different techniques so that you can find out what works best for you. You'll leave with a 'too kit' of techniques ready at your disposal to use both whilst pregnant and when baby arrives!
